Responsible Use Policy
Fluxera 5.0 changes how a person appears on camera. That is useful, and it is also the kind of capability that does real harm when it is misused. This page sets out exactly what a licence permits, what it forbids, and what happens when the line is crossed. It forms part of the licence agreement.
Last updated 1 August 2026.
Permitted
- Creators altering their own appearance on their own streams and recordings.
- Digital doubles, stunt replacement and continuity work with the performer's written consent.
- Campaign and market variants where the talent's contract covers the derived use.
- Source protection in journalism, where the alteration is disclosed.
- Research, evaluation and internal testing on footage you own.
Prohibited
- Any use of a person's likeness without their consent.
- Sexual content of any kind, and any content whatsoever involving minors.
- Impersonation for fraud, financial gain, or identity misuse.
- Synthetic footage presented as authentic news or documentary record.
- Political content presented as an authentic recording of a real person.
- Defeating identity verification, biometric authentication or KYC checks.
- Harassment, defamation, or the production of material intended to humiliate.
What happens if this is breached
Licences are machine-bound, so a breach is traceable to an account. Where we have credible evidence of prohibited use we suspend the licence immediately and without refund. Where the conduct appears criminal — fraud, material involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery — we report it to the relevant authority and cooperate fully with any investigation.
We would rather lose a sale than see this technology used to erode trust in what people see. That is not a marketing line: it is why applications are reviewed by a person and why we decline some of them.
Reporting misuse
If you believe Fluxera 5.0 has been used against you or someone you represent, email support@fluxeraailabs.com with as much detail as you can. Reports involving a person's likeness are treated as urgent and answered by a human.
